Jazan Gas Projects Company (JGPC) has received its first major shipment of materials and key process equipment to the site of JGPC’s industrial gas complex.
In October, two geared ocean vessels successfully discharged cargo, totalling 347 packages, at the Jazan non-commercial jetty. These included all the compressors for units 1, 2 & 3, nine motors for three ASU trains and pressure vessels.
The materials delivery marks an important milestone in the construction of the world’s largest industrial gas plant, which consists of six separate air separation trains and will produce around 75,000 metric tons per day of industrial gas on completion.
It is also a proud moment for the Jazan team who have demonstrated exceptional proficiencies at managing operations on a huge scale.
